Writing: all my opinions on my favorite things

I know you’ve been dying to read this.

Re(Plays) - Music & Vinyl

Do you hear what I hear? Now you can! I’ll show off some of my vinyl record collection and tell you why I keep listening to them. Some old, most relatively new, all linked for your listening pleasure.

The Junk Drawer

Every house needs a junk drawer for everything that doesn’t fit neatly anywhere else. This section showcases what I’m up to, including (but never limited to) plays, concerts, home improvement, horticulture (plants are cool), video game, some cat photos, and probably a few surprises if you’re lucky.

Re(Views) - Plays, TV, & Pro Wrestling

Find out what I’m watching and how I feel about it. Most will be about connecting old TV to now. Wrestling is one of my favorite things to watch, so expect a good amount about it. I’ll give you each show’s episode information and where to watch it.

Music & Vinyl

Re(Plays)

Welcome to my record shelf! Here you’ll find reviews of albums new and old, mostly in terms of how each make me feel inside and why I keep replaying them. Sometimes you’ll get a special bonus: I’ll show off my vinyl copies, especially the collectible ones. I’m by no means an expert who knows everything, but I usually have something interesting to share regardless. Each review will include the album on Spotify so you can listen while you read.

Charles Bradley - Changes

Find out why you should be listening to this album more often. If you’ve never heard it, it’s sure to rock your world.

Newsboys - Take Me to Your Leader

Learn what I love about this classic 90s CCM album and why I’ve been replaying it since I was 13.

Lucius - Second Nature

In my inaugural Re(Plays) album review, I’ll share why Lucius is my favorite band and why their latest album is more than worth your time.

DC Talk - Supernatural

In this Re(Play) I’ll tell you why this album still transports me to a more hopeful world, 25 years after its release, and how my late Granny is forever connected with it in my mind.

Re(Views)

I’ve always been interested in what makes a show worth watching again and again. I’ve been watching Seinfeld reruns for just about my entire life, and I can’t tell you precisely why. In these rewatches, I’ll attempt to identify that very aspect. From sitcoms to pro wrestling to live plays I’m working on, you’ll get to find out what stands out to me.

The Junk Drawer Journals

These articles are literal journal entries I am making public. Yes, there is an actual journal in an actual junk drawer. Or at least it’s supposed to be; I keep leaving it other places.

Everything has its place....

Entry #3: A.I. Art as Fundraising Tool

I’m trying something new to raise money for my many real-life arts projects: Use AI to make a low-cost, tangible fundraising product. I wrote about why and how I see it as a tool for small nonprofits. You can see some of the art below.
